What does it mean to journal as a spiritual practice? Each month we explore different questions and writing prompts that help us to connect with the divine. We spend the hour in short bursts of writing and then conversation about what comes to mind as we connect our bodies, minds, and spirits. Our writings remain private, but we reflect on the experience of writing. No experience necessary! Just grab a piece of paper and something to write with and hop on zoom with an open, curious heart. Each month has a different topic, so join as often as you can. You do not need to attend every month.

Third Saturday of the month, 10:00 am.

January Recap

We welcomed new participants and regulars to this month’s Journaling Session, and want to share the prompts we used to connect with ourselves, the Divine, and each other.

We warmed up by using the word NEIGHBOR (written vertically) to brainstorm as many words as we could come up with in 5-6 minutes. (Think the game of Scrabble).

Then we read the Mission Prayer and journaled about the question, What does being fully awake mean to you?

We invite you to consider these prompts in the coming days and would love for you to join us at our next session on February 18.
